Ultrasonic humidifier; what water to use?and how to clean?
Hi i just got a 2nd hand hardly used ultrasonic small room humidifier.
I was wondering can i only use distilled water with this unit? does bottled water contain to many minerals?. And how can i clean this unit so that that microbacteria dont build up?

You can clean it with mild soap and water, and if there are mineral deposits, brush with white vinegar. Distilled water won’t leave deposits, but you may find it a little pricey to buy water specifically for this purpose. Tap water should be fine, I use it in mine and clean it once a week.
