Often I’ll be in bed and everything besides my humidifier is silent. When I lift my head, at a certain angle, I hear a weird buzzing noise. My computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse are all off. Only my clock and phone are on across the room, and my phone is on sleep mode. The noise is white noise only very soft, and kind of like a vibration. What could this be, read up that could be something electromagnetic.
Note: Defiantly not the humidifier, it’s on a different surface, can’t create vibration, plus it’s ultrasonic and nearly silent.
I read somewhere along the way that ultrasonic devices like pest control devices that you plug in are bad for hammies. I was wondering if anyone else has ever heard of that? I am getting a humidifier for my very small place and it has the ultrasonic feature in it and I am worried that it is not good for a hammie and their nervous system. Maybe it wasn’t ultrasonic at all that I read about, maybe something else similar or maybe I am just imagining it. The unit is supposed to be safe around animals but hammies are different. So am I imagining it or is it true?
I want to get a humidifier. A reasonably priced one because I don't want to spend a fortune. I have been thinking about getting the Air-O-Swiss Ultrasonic 7135, but I have heard bad things about it and good things and can't decide. The Air-O-Swiss is about as much as i would spend on a humidifier.
So what humidifier do you use? What would you recommend for me (I plan on using it for my dry skin)
I've been trying to figure it out, but I"ve never had a humidifier before, and we don't have the box because we borrowed it from a friend, but I just can't figure this thing out, can anyone give me like step by step instructions?
