Hi i just got a 2nd hand hardly used ultrasonic small room humidifier.
I was wondering can i only use distilled water with this unit? does bottled water contain to many minerals?. And how can i clean this unit so that that microbacteria dont build up?

for ultrasonic humidifier they advise you to use distilled water which would be expensive to do..would boiling tap water be ok to use in a cool/warm mist humidifier or would it be better to use bottled water?
if using bottled water what kind do i get cause i know some water still has minerals in that can create the white dust particles
what are some brands i can find in any supermarket that are bottled distilled water that isnt to expensive?
